Amanda and Brian {Wedding} Belmont, NC

When I think of fun, happy people, Amanda and Brian are up top on that list! When Amanda and I had our first telephone conversation, and we laughed most of the time we were talking.

Valerie and Mike’s Reception!

Valerie and Mike had a fabulous destination wedding in Jamaica in September. I was lucky enough to get to tag along for that adventure! To celebrate their wedding with all their friends and family back home, they had a reception here in North Carolina. Here are some of my favorite pics from that day.

Sneaky-peeky…

So, I’m entirely TOO excited about this Bumble {from Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer} hat that I found by the amazing Jessica Brooks/Modiste Bee. You see, Jay’s favorite character from childhood Christmas movies was Bumble! Ever since that discovery, I make sure Jay gets some sort of Bumble awesome-ness. Now that we have our little one, what could be better than the combination of baby awesome-ness AND Bumble awesome-ness!??

Black Friday and Small Business Saturday specials

I hope you are having a wonderful Thanksgiving! I’m thankful for so much, and you are among my many blessings–it is wonderful to have your support, because without you, I wouldn’t be in business! Thank you for appreciating custom photography and recognizing the importance of photographs that go beyond “say cheese”. I also want to thank you for supporting small business in general! YOU ROCK!!!!

Wedding {Haley and Jonathon} The Gingerbread Meeting House

Haley and Jonathon had such a super sweet and fun wedding at a new-to-me location, the Gingerbread Meeting House in Shelby, NC. It blends indoor/outdoor ceremony and reception locations in such a lovely way. I was so excited to photograph their wedding there.

Laura + Ke Wedding Reception at The Arbors! by Stephanie

This is by far one of my favorite themes for a wedding! Red, black, and white are such a classy color combination. Plus, Laura made all of these gorgeous paper flower decorations by hand!┬áThe reception was extremely lively, they had a great playlist of songs from the 80′s and everyone was having a grand old time. Be sure to check out their wedding pie (not cake!).

Jackson’s first Halloween

OhMyGoodness…….. I LOVE Halloween, and this year was the best Halloween ever because we have our sweet little Jackson and we get to experience every holiday from now on with fresh eyes! We didn’t take him out trick or treating this year, but we had TONS of trick or treaters come to our door {when you give out 16 ounce Sun Drop bottles, word gets out}, and Jackson was enamoured with all the kids in their costumes. His big cousin Charlee and two of his ‘baby friends’ also came to visit, so he had a wonderful night.
