Aaaaaah! So excited to have just gotten my acceptance into Fearless Photographers!

The last Springmaid Mountain wedding inspiration by RoShel Events was an elopement inspired by Pantone color grayed jade and yellow.
Joy and Bradley planned a super small, intimate wedding in the mountains of Little Switzerland, North Carolina. They drove from their home state of Alabama to say their vows overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains right before Thanksgiving.
Am I the only one in total disbelief that 2012 is ending? This year has flown by.
Looking back, I didn’t fully stick to the resolutions I made at the beginning of the year. Though I did get out of my maternity jeans finally, I still haven’t lost the baby weight..something to continue to work on in 2013. Most nights, I managed to turn off the computer and really be present with my family. I did take on a much lighter schedule in 2012, which really helped. 2013 is going to be amazing, though, with new procedures, workflow management software, and lots of other new and exciting events, partnerships and general goodness!
I love to travel…LOVE, love, love it.
Of course, my travels across the US border have really been cut down since Jackson was born, but I still love it. I love it even more when I get to go to beautiful places and photograph gorgeous brides and handsome grooms. This trip to Vancouver Island was completely amazing– I got to visit a new place, Jackson got to come with us, and the absolutely amazing Barb from French Kiss Events helped set up a wonderful rock the dress session while I was there! Jacob and Laura were fantastic-they had gotten married in the Caribbean, but regretted not having any wedding portraits done where they live in Victoria, Canada.
Nicole recently wed her longtime sweetheart in uptown Charlotte, so I can finally show her fabulous bridal portraits we took at The Duke Mansion!
After working with Jill from Events by Design, I knew we had to work together again soon! She is absolutely one of the most detail oriented people I have ever met, and it shows in her wedding and event design. I couldn’t wait for our wedding together this October, so we planned a fun inspiration bridal / wedding session in her native Hickory, NC, at a really cool and funky venue called The Warehouse.
What a pleasure it was to photograph Amanda and Daniel’s ‘old Hollywood’ wedding at The Old Courthouse on the Square in Decatur, Georgia! I love all my brides and grooms to pieces, but Amanda and Daniel are just super-duper special, and I’m so happy I got to know them!
If you’ve followed my blog at all, you’ve probably seen some praise for my buddies over at Lunahzon Photography. They photographed my family portraits on the beach earlier this year, as well as little Jackson’s baptism! What I haven’t shared yet (and I’m way past due) is their own special day–their WEDDING this past December. Yep, the awesome Jeremy and Debby over at Lunahzon are a sweet husband and wife team!
Congratulations to Amanda and Daniel, who just got married last Friday! As promised, here is part two of their engagement portrait session in Georgia…
It’s that time of year again, when I get to do something totally fun and sweet for all you wonderful people who follow my blog {thank you so much!!!
}. This year, I’ll be hosting this giveaway in April in honor of the best thing that ever happened to me, my beautiful son Jackson!
I’m teaming up with the awesome Jill of Events by Design to give one lucky couple a huge prize package– FREE wedding photography from Christi Falls Photography AND FREE wedding coordination from Events By Design!
